WHY BARIZ EXISTS
About Bariz™
Most people never find out how their positioning actually lands — not because no one has an opinion, but because almost nobody will say it to your face. Bariz exists to close that gap with a real measurement instead of a guess.
Feedback you can actually trust
Ask a colleague directly how they see your work, and you'll almost always get a kind, vague, unusable answer — there's real social cost to saying anything else once your name is attached to it. Formal reviews happen once or twice a year at most, run by HR for HR's purposes, not yours. Bariz was built to answer one specific question honestly: does the way you describe your own professional positioning match how the people who actually work with you describe it?
A two-minute self-assessment, then a real crowd
You describe your field, specialism, the problem you solve, and who you serve. You share one anonymous link with colleagues, clients, and peers, who answer the same questions about you. Once at least five responses come in, Bariz compares your self-view against the aggregate crowd view — against its chance baseline, not in isolation — and produces a named diagnosis plus a ranked action plan.
See the full methodologyStructural, not promised
Respondent anonymity isn't a policy we ask people to trust — it's a property of the database schema. No field anywhere connects a submitted response back to who submitted it, not even at the aggregate-viewer level. That's a deliberate, verifiable design choice, not a claim on a page.

Bariz was built by a cross-functional team of consultants spanning personal branding, product development, and UX — who came together around one specific gap: nobody had built a real, structural way to measure how a professional's positioning actually lands, instead of guessing at it.
